Caribbean Export’s work focuses on nine priority areas: Agro-processing, Creative Industries, Financial Services, Health and Wellness, Information and Communication Technology, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Specialised Tourism and Renewable Energy. This development work has also strengthened the institutional capacity of public and private sector agencies, and BSOs, particularly sector associations, trade support institutions (TSIs) and investment promotions agencies (IPAs).
What is the registry?
The registry is a database of regional service providers that consists of two components:
1) A public, searchable directory of participating service providers that allows for the identification/ retrieval of providers. It assigns a unique identifier to each provider and maintains information about them including their location, professional accreditations and areas of specialty. It is maintained by databases from national organisations and associations as well as by registrants themselves.
2) A statistical database that provides data on the sectors represented, including the number of firms/ practitioners in a particular sector, the revenue generated, the number of employees and size of exports.
